AT THE MAISON DU PÈRE, WE ARE...
“More than a shelter: a way out”¾that is the raison d'être of the Maison du Père. In addition to meeting the basic needs of homeless men, we have a duty to help them move toward potential self-sufficiency, and to do so with compassion and respect. This is the spirit in which employees in every section of the Maison du Père must work together to welcome and support the homeless men, or those at risk of becoming homeless, who ask for their help.
At the Maison du Père, we are defined by some distinctive characteristics, which we also we look for in prospective employees.

Some are front-line staff who interact directly with clients, while others do manual types of work, and yet others prefer to work in administrative positions.
