Gwen Klees has nearly 30 years of experience in corporate law and commercial law, particularly in the field of mergers and acquisitions. She has participated in numerous national and international transactions involving major Canadian companies. For the first 15 years of her career, after working in private practice, she held various positions at the Royal Bank of Canada, Bell Canada, and a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. In 2003 she joined Ovivo (formerly GLV Inc. and Groupe Laperrière & Verreault) to manage global legal affairs. In 2007 she was appointed Vice-President of Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary, and in 2013 she took over Risk Management. At Ovivo, a company specializing in water and wastewater treatment, she is responsible for local, national, and international strategic risk management, collaborating with insurance providers and working with other risk management tools.
Ms. Klees is a Bachelor of Civil Law and member of the Quebec Bar.
