• 24% of our clients under trustee service turned to us to intervene with their landlords in order to avoid eviction.
   
• 21% occasionally need to call upon the Maison du Père’s food services because of their precarious financial situations.
   
• 17% relied on us to accompany them to medical appointments.
   
• In-home assistance for those at risk of becoming homeless calls for the availability of clean, affordable housing. But the needs remain critical. The average wait time for low-cost housing is three and a half years.
   
• Maintaining housing self-sufficiency through in-home assistance avoids significant health and social service costs.
